أقدمت مليشيا الدعم السريع بمدينه ام روابة على قتل رئيس حزب الأمة بالمدينة عبيد الله الطيب، وذلك اثناء هروبهم وانسحابهم من، ورمى جثمانه باطراف المدينة.
واستغرب شهود عيان من مسلك المليشيا باعتبار أن المقتول كان من أبرز المتعاونين معهم ومن من تولوا كبر استباحة المدينة، كما عرف في بلايفاته المساندة للمليشيا حتى قبل اسبوع حيث وقف متحدياً أن ام روابة ستظل عصية على القوات المسلحة.
